Edgar Llivisupa currently lives in New York City while completing his undergraduate degree in Spanish and Business Journalism at Baruch College. He spent 2019 and 2020 teaching abroad in Ontinyent, Valencia. There, he rediscovered his passion for the culinary arts and seized the opportunity to improve his Spanish by traveling throughout Spain. On top of that, Edgar learned the local language of his region, Valenciano. Once the pandemic is over and international travel resumes, Edgar hopes to move to Latin America to embark on a similar journey to learn other cultures, cuisines, and languages.

Edgar Llivisupa spends most of his free time either rediscovering retro gaming classics on his Nintendo Switch, reading the latest issue of The New Yorker, flicking through the Business section of The New York Times, or in front of the stove, attempting to perfect his paella.
