Kimberly Anne
Kimberly grew up with a thirst for culture. During a class project in elementary school, she was asked to write about her culture—and realized that she didn’t have much of her own. This planted the seed of curiosity to learn about cultures around the world. Every extra penny her parents had was spent on traveling and giving Kimberly and her sister opportunities to immerse themselves in different languages, foods, and ways of life. Kimberly was inspired by these experiences, and even more so when they included aspects of giving back to people in need.
During her undergraduate career at San Jose State University, she obtained her degree in global studies with a minor in human rights–the perfect combination of all her passions. During her junior year, her mother asked her to pick a country to study abroad in, a request Kimberly was grateful to fulfill. She chose Jaén, Spain.
In Spain, she fell in love—with Spain. After returning home to California, she searched high and low for any way she could return to her love. In 2017, Kimberly moved to Barcelona where she attended the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals and earned her Master’s degree in international relations. It was during her studies in Spain that she found herself fascinated with women’s empowerment. From the articles she wrote for her university’s student magazine to assigned essays, she honed in on topics surrounding women’s political, social, and health status.
As Kimberly likes to say, “she’s in the business of women”—specifically, women’s health and sexual wellness. And that’s what she does today. She’s written and produced award-winning ethical adult films for women, written countless articles on sexual and reproductive health and guides on exploring pleasure, and has even dabbled in scriptwriting for top audio erotica apps. She’s currently heading back to school to attain her certifications in intimacy coordinating and somatic sexology with the hopes of providing further sexual healing and trauma prevention for women.
When Kimberly isn’t helping women safely explore their sexuality, she spends her time with her most beloved confidante, Mother Nature. Running, hiking, backpacking, snowboarding—you name it. She loves to be outside any chance she gets. And when she’s not outside, you can usually find Kimberly curled up with a good book and a cup of tea with her long-haired dachshund Lumpy, watching the San Francisco Giants, or teaching a yoga class to friends and family. You can find her on LinkedIn.
