Stephanie Best currently works as an adjunct professor at Miami Dade College after graduating in Higher Education Administration at the University of Miami. She is an alumna of Vanderbilt University (B.S.) and Lipscomb University (M.Ed) in Nashville, TN. Stephanie is passionate about serving under-served populations and building bridges through promoting cross-cultural experiences.

She moved back to the United States after working abroad in Madrid, Spain as a bilingual teacher. In this role, Stephanie worked with the Fulbright Global Classrooms program and a bilingual Spanish school to teach English, American culture, and international relations to Spanish students. Previously, she was a Nashville Teaching Fellow and taught high school Spanish in the Nashville area for three years.

Stephanie also spent summers teaching in Honduras and Los Angeles. Through her unique experiences, she has developed a passion for advocating for students and promoting educational experiences that serve students in a holistic manner. Living and working in diverse areas has equipped Stephanie to effectively serve diverse populations and thrive in multicultural settings. She strives to be able to provide students with experiences that challenge their world view and push them out of their comfort zone.
